Welcome, I’m Clare

this is MY STORY so far.

They say most people have five careers in their life (*raises hand*). But I honestly wouldn't change a thing about my journey so far. I've travelled the world marketing chart-topping dance acts (yep, my previous life was A&R manager for Ministry of Sound), spent a few years hanging out with rocket scientists and lived my best life in London working for some pretty cool global businesses.

Then I became a Mum, moved to the country and thought, okay what next? As if raising an actual small human wasn't enough of a challenge, I knew I had to get stuck in to something creative and have the freedom of working for myself. So I decided to take a photography workshop (in fact, I did ALL the the workshops!), got a great mentor and invested in a beautiful website. For the next seven years, I photographed lots of beautiful weddings, learning everything about running my own small business.

Then this happened…

With nuptials on hold in the midst of the global pandemic, I got busy learning how to build websites in Squarespace, at first just for fun. Soon I had a steady stream of clients, mostly creative women launching new solo careers. I knew I could help them and I loved doing it so I made this my full-time gig and hung up my cameras for good.

I then had the opportunity to join Melissa Love (design legend) at The Design Space where I’m part of her in-house team as as well as running my own Squarespace website design & SEO consultancy business. I’m passionate about working with other women on a path to build a business that aligns with their hopes, dreams and values.
